Cape Town Hospitality School (PTY)Ltd, (CTHS)is based in the southern suburbs, Cape Flats region of Cape Town. This small private accredited school (CATHSSETA) is run by 2 seasoned chefs, Chef Siven Pillay and Chef Sivan Naidoo. CTHS is a registered training provider with S.A. Chefs association, FEDHASA and S.A. Culinary and Hospitality educator’s forum.
Chef Siven Pillay and Chef Sivan Naidoo have over 50 years(combined) of international experience at the highest levels of food preparation services. They have commanded kitchens within many different cultural cuisines in the U.S., Europe and Africa. They have also found themselves cooking in private residence for an elite clientele over the years.
Cape Town Hospitality School offers accredited courses, national qualifications and accredited skills programs for learners (out of school and adult learners). Siven Pillay is a hands-on pro-active chef, who thrives in challenging unconventional surroundings and situations. He has the ability to adapt easily to various English and non-English speaking cultures. Siven (principal) is accredited and registered by CATHSSETA and ETDP SETA. He has 23 years of international experience/knowledge brought to your kitchen and chef. “We are here to teach /share the skills to manage and maintain a safe profitable and productive kitchen.”
